Antonio has been with the SCPA for over 25 years!!! Through it all, Antonio's priority has been maintaining our beautiful site and keeping everyone safe! Antonio has an 18 year old son, and a 21 year old daughter.
Marci Dinkin, Board President
Marci first came to the canyon in 1994. Marci grew up riding in Toronto and actually met her husband backpacking in the south of France! Marci's four children all learned to ride in the Canyon. You can find Marci riding her wondermare Reika in the canyon.
Raphaelle Cassens, Board Member
Raphaelle and her daughters Josephine and Chloe have been part of the canyon since 1999. Raphaelle currently competes in the hunters and is the proud mom of her OTTB, Little Buddy and her young hunter Calypso.
Anne Dobkin, Board Member, Santa Monica Conservancy Representative
As board member, Anne represents the Santa Monica Conservancy. Anne is one of the longest serving board members. In addition to helping providing a bridge to the Canyon's long history, Anne provides a valuable perspective as a homeowner.
Thérèse Lotman, Board Member
Thérèse moved to the Canyon in 2011 with her husband, two daughters, 4 horses, and 2 dogs. She is our resident “dressage rider” and still can’t believe she has the privilege of riding in the Canyon every day! You can typically find Thérèse on the weekends either competing her two FEI-level dressage horses or with her daughter, Anna Sophia, at a hunter jumper show.
Gail Lyon: Board Member, Fundraising
Gail has been part of the canyon since 2010 when her daughters, Elissa, and Ali started as summer access riders. Her daughters are now riding with Traci Barmen Brooks and the canyon is a regular feature of their lives. Gail loves turning the corner onto Old Ranch Road and feeling like she stepped back in time to another era.
Larry Watts, Board Member
Larry has lived in Sullivan Canyon for over 45 years. In 1972, he helped build our original riding facilities in the canyon. Larry was a founding board member of the Sullivan Canyon Preservation Association and served as its president for several years.
He continues to occasionally compete in the adult jumper division with his Hanoverian Baja. He would compete more if there was a 75 & over division! Larry and Happy's Halflinger Princess Minty is currently used by Ahead With Horses when they visit the canyon each Thursday to provide equine therapy to children with disabilities.
